We got 3 items for lunch and the roasted pork sandwich was outstanding! The pork was cooked to be so tender and was full of flavors. “ We were watching the sunset at Children’s Cove and wanted to find dinner. Havana Kitchen had nearly perfect reviews, so we followed Google’s walking directions (which are terrible?!) and made it up the hill. SO worth it. We had never tried Cuban food before, so we asked the woman at the register what we should order. Sarah’s recommendations were SPOT on. She had the kitchen split a saute bowl for us- rice, beans, a plantain each, and steak with “mojochurri” (garlic and parsley). It was so so so good. Similar to chimichurri sauce, but with more garlic than I’m used to. We also split thee fresh empanadas- beef, pork, and cilantro chicken. All three were great- so crispy and juicy- but the cilantro chicken was our favorite. I’m now officially a fan of Cuban food. ”
